From American Idol...anyone else feel that the America's media is making fun of him?

Some of the media is making fun of him and he knows it. I think he's just accepting all the attention because there are people that like him because he said "I tried my best and I have no regrets", which is an inspirational attitude. Also, he is making lots of new friends. He is getting attention like crazy. Not that it's as important as friends, but don't forget all the big money he is getting. If he continues going on TV shows and stuff, he will have enough money to last the rest of his life. One music company gave him $25, 000. If he signs that record deal, he will make even bigger money.

William Hung rocks! I think with his determination and effort, he will be able to actually sing good someday. He already announced that he is going to take singing lessons. I really do hope he does well.

its not going to last my friends... william hung is a fab, a phase. he's the new pokemon cards. once he gets the record deal, there will be people like cringehumour except in the music business after him. they'll say things like "hes a fluke" and "anyone can sing in an asian accent, no biggie" william hung will be big in the media than fade away slowly.... even i think he's gettin a bit boring

American Idol don't care about him, they're just using him to make money.

It's ture, but he's taking it pretty well. (Even though i doubt he knows whats going on.)

He has admitted on interviews that he knows people make fun of him, but he probably doesn't know how much they are making fun of them. He probably just thinks they are making a little bit of fun of him. So yes, I guess he doesn't really know what's going on.

Not everybody makes fun of him, some people are greatly inspired by him, but a large majority are just making fun of him.

Yoink is right, i'm the only one in my group that doesn't bust out laughing when he come on t.v.

I am not making fun of him. He's got an awesome attitude which most people lack.

Having him out there singing is like having someone 150 lbs playing in the NFL.

He's more suited for comedian, not a singer. American Idol don't care as long they're making money and could careless about who he is.

That is true, but at least William is making money too. I love Williams attitude. More people need to "try their best and have no regrets." If you do your best, you should never ever have regrets.
