HLR-5678 problem.

Post by admin » Fri Aug 14, 2009 9:45 pm

There are recent posts here so I'll try to get someone's ear for my problem. HLR-5678, bought in 2006. A couple of months ago it develped a 1.5-inch shadow along the left edge of the screen. Grown slightly now to maybe 2 inches. You can see the image on the screen through it, and picture otherwise seems fine. Figured I'd try the lamp. Installed it today, but nothing changed. Issue persists. Anyone had this before?

Check the post of Rivers85 here: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=602&p=2132#p2132.

Your problem seems to be the light tunnel.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. I actually navigated around and found your previous post. I also found a major thread on the same Samsung issue on an ecoustics.com page. Looks like I need to persuade Samsung to fix my out-of-warranty set. It appears others have gained satisfaction because it appears to be a common problem among these models. Any advice on getting Samsung to cooperate would be welcome. Thanks again.
