Panasonic PT-D3500U

Post by tsvservice » Mon Apr 26, 2010 1:19 pm

I'm working on a Panasonic PT-D3500U DLP projector. The position sensor for the color wheel had fallen off; I replaced it with a piece of black tape and a little super glue; the projector came back to life. However, there is now a persistent flicker in the image that occurs after about 5 minutes of operation. I'm leaning towards a bad DMD board, but am hoping to hear of another fix.

Hello,

Actually I believe the DMD board will be the problem. I wish I had different information to provide but from what you describe that does sound to be the issue.
