BIG Problems with WD-52725

Post by Crocluvr92 » Fri Jan 29, 2010 3:32 am

I just bought this TV from an online auction and the Red Light for Bulb came on after I plugged it in. I Just replaced the bulb and got the red light again after the TV started up, then just today, I replaced the ballast and I plugged in the TV and as with the other times the green light blinked for the reset, I turned on the TV and the light stayed green for about a minute then switched back to the red light again! Im getting VERY tired of this. Any suggestions?

Those TVs usually have a sequence of lights. We have a guide on the main site to read how the lights work. For example, status blinking red means it could be the fan. If the lamp LED is blinking, could be a combination of either lamp, ballast, or power supply. Even a color wheel. Just gotta give more symptoms.

When you installed the ballast, did you check your color wheel?

Are you sure you have your lamp cover completely and securely fastened? There is a sensor there ya know!
